This is my third fall with my little man and the first with my little lady. I was itching to get out of the house and have a family day. I love how Americans celebrate autumn there are so many activities for toddlers. Not to mention being a Floridian you may be able to venture outside after the heat of summer.

We went to my very first fall festival. It was a great day at the Amazing Grace Family Farm. It had many photo opportunities and some good old live music for the big kids.

Fun Outdoor Autumn Activities for Toddlers

Visit the Fall Festival!

Wagon Rides are the bomb! In Australia, we do wheelbarrow rides with our kids. Either way that are both fun for the little one. Just one is a little more work than the other for the big kids.

Corn Maze’s: are fun but I wouldn’t plan anything else for the day. Harrison was covered from Head to Toe in the dirt! Also, make sure your little isn’t faster than you. We had a little issue there 🙂

Corn Boxes: A total hit for the little ones. Even better we could pop our little six-month-old lady in there too. The kids are best friends so they had the time of their lives there.

Bouncing Balls remember those huge bouncy balls with ears? You could ride them like a kangaroo in the park or race them with your Dad.

Pat and Play Farm Animals are a fun fall activity. Teach your little one how to be gentle and see them be amazed by all the different animals.

Sunflower Farms are in bloom and they make perfect photo opportunities and a fun little outdoor place for your little to explore.

Collect pine cones to use as a centerpiece or perhaps you could decorate your mantle tops.

Jump in the leaves enough said!

Visit your local Pumpkin Patch and pick the perfect pumpkin to carve your jack-o-lantern from.

Take fun photos at the local fairs and events.

At Home Autumn Activities for Toddlers

Dress each other up as toilet paper mummies. This is sure to be a hoot!

Magick marker pumpkins then your little one can get creative without the sharp objects. I’m sure they will be very creative jack-o-lanterns.

Toast marshmallows on the stove, over some candles or if you have the luxury of an outdoor fire.

Make Miniature ghosts use white tissues, a black marker, and rubber bands.

Build a scarecrow stuffed with newspaper. This will teach your little responsibility and they will learn to care for something that is living.

Craft scary facemasks with paper plates

Plant some flower bulbs and watch them grow

Have an apple cider “tea” party.

Make a necklace with Halloween-colored beads.

Decorate your yard with hay bales.

Get the family outdoors on a swing

Play hide-and-seek with glow sticks

Which one was your favorite? Mine was the festival because you got to knock so many out in one day!

If you have some great ideas drop them in the comments below. I would love to hear them.
