With the New Year upon us I thought I should take the time to sit down and write out my aerial goals for the new year! It helps me be accountable and focus on my goals.
1. Obtain an Oversplit.
Start working on my over split! I have been able to do the splits since I was a young child I guess I have been super lazy in not pushing myself to move beyond this pretty comfort level.
One girl I am totally crushing on is Alessandra Rancan. She has the cutest flexibility shoots, amazing pole skills and stunning acro moves.
I know that I have a little less time to get my over split since the second baby is Due March 2nd but I still have ample time afterwards to get some new elevation in my split.
2. Nail Elbow Rolls
Yeah Baby! Can you believe that I have never tried any elbow rolls? I was just about to start working on them along with barrel rolls and along came little bambino number 2!
I am super keen to start spinning around my Lyra. Especially since I can’t orbit. I get the worst motion sickness!!
If you are inspired by flips and tricks. Who isn’t? Right! Then you should check out Yvette Dusol. Her moves are beyond brave, and captivating for the vouyer. I’m pretty sure she was a ninja in her last life ;P.
Trying these moves are not for the faint hearted!
3. Finish my Dynamic Flexibility Manual
Yes this has been in the works for at least eight months now! Having to take the first four months off training due to the worst morning sickness. What a cruel word that is the never ending morning sickness. I have to say it slowed my enthusiasm as I was not able to train so writing about training was not very high on my list.
Secondly I didn’t want to shoot and video all of the content preggas! So my goal is to get it done for 2019!
Here is a flashback to the day I found out I was pregnant! About 6 weeks here!
