Scorpion back bends are when the back is arched and the knees are slightly bent or completely straight. Resembling the silhouette of a scorpions body and tail.

These can be taken in multiple disciplines as the shape of the back and legs are not impacted upon by the rest of the body.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Straight legs increase the difficulty of the back bend by increasing pressure in the lumbar spine.
